Russian Doll – acrylic painting

Russian_doll

Acrylic on acrylic paper. I like the color combinations.

"This is 1879, you know."

I wonder what being half Russian feels like. And if you are an Indian princess forced to marry a man you don't love and then have to throw yourself on the funeral pyre when he has died. And your true love is all the while trying to figure out a way to save your life. I wonder what that feels like.
